Hi Experts,
As part of requirement When one billing document will create ,simultaneously one PDF image will generate for that invoice and metadata will also create for that image file and save that metadata in one more DAT file in sap system on application server.Then by combining these 2 files we have to create one Compress TAR file (Format-TAR.Gz) and send to non SAP system through HTTP protocol,that configuration taken by system.
As part of my work,i have created PDF,DAT file and put it into one TAR file using CL_ABAP_ZIP class.I have searched in sdn and other lot of forums ,they are suggesting to use SM69-External program command to Create TAR ball and compress TAR ball,as it is in UNIX operating system level.In part of my project am not authorized to get use SM69 and its commands,
Could you please suggest me without using SM69 ,how i can create TAR .Gz file ,already i have created TAR file and its working fine.Please let me know how to compress TAR file As TAR.Gz
It is very urgent.Please help me and if you have any docs please share with me.
