Hi Mariano,
I'm Ivan's co-worker. I'm not sure whether our case matches yours. Let me describe our situation here:
BPC is installed in a Windows server (e.g. named "ABC"). Several Windows login users are created in ABC, like "administrator" (has admin right), "manager", etc. They are granted access right to the BPC model.
In my own PC, I login Windows with my own accounts, e.g. "Connie". Then normally, I could open Excel, choose BPC connection and type in "administrator", "password" to logon BPC EPM Add-in. I'm also able to change log in user, like using "manager" as the user name.
One day, after choosing the BPC connection, it is no longer required to type in user name and password. I can click "log in" button directly and log in successfully.
That means, I can no longer change the log in user. I have tried many methods to restore the login prompt to its previous look but not a single one can solve the problem, including removing and re-creating the connection.
For your suggestion, I'm not sure if I should change my own PC's login user, or something else?
Thanks for your patient reading. We are urgently in need of your help.
Connie
