Asset capitalisation with wrong amount?

Hi all,

        An Asset is Capitalised with Rs 400000 and depriciation is run but it came to know that the capitalised value of asset was Rs 300000 instead of                Rs 400000.Now  the thing is that How to Capitalised with Rs 300000.Please help me on this.
